Iowa Tests of Basic Skills


For those homeschoolers who need or want standardized testing for students in grades 3-8, the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills - the Basic Battery will be offered during the spring of 2006. Below is some pertinent information regarding the tests.

TEST ADMINSTRATOR: Rick Patton, Headmaster of Aleithia (ALC)

DATES: There will be three testing dates:

  • Monday, March 31, 2008
  • Monday, April 7, 2008
TIMES: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Students should plan to arrive by 8:15 AM. Testing will start promptly at 8:30 AM.

LOCATIONS: There will be three testing sites (directions can be found on the back):

  • March 31: Traber Center, Camp Sankanac, Spring City PA
  • April 7: Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church, Glenmoore, PA
TEST RESULTS: Tests will be sent out to be machine-scored. The results will be returned to you within approximately 4 weeks of the testing date.

COST: $30.00 per child - This includes testing materials, test administration, and scoring.

PRACTICE TESTS: Practice tests are available for an extra $6.00 per test.

NOTE: ALL THREE TESTING DATES ARE FILLING FAST. DON'T DELAY IN SUBMITTING YOUR REGISTRATION. ONCE THE STUDENT LIMIT IS REACHED, NO MORE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
